I have successfully setup and converted the IssueTracker source code on my Vista Premium machine. Now i have a build error saying:

Error    1    Could not load type 'ASPNET.StarterKit.IssueTracker.Global'.    C:\Program Files\ASP.NET Starter Kits\ASP.NET IssueTracker (CSVS)\IssueTrackerStarterKit\Global.asax    1   

Well, i'm a bit unfamiliar with web programming. Any help would be appreciated.

ps: I was getting the same error when i try to connect to the web site when i first install the IssueTrackerStarterKit before i converted and build the source code. So i assume it is nothing to do with the conversion process and/or .net framework version.

Just so we're clear, you're saying you've built the solution in Visual Studio, and this is the error that you're getting? Can you confirm that the dlls are in the\bin directory, and that the root direct for the web project is set up as a site or virtual directory in IIS?

Yes, i have built the solution with VS 2005 and this is the error i'm getting (only one as of moment). I see only one dll file in the bin directory which is "ASPNET.StarterKit.IssueTracker.dll" and a .pdb file with the same name. The root direct for the project is set up as virtual directory in IIS.

I have downloaded the Issuetracker source code for the .net 2.0 from the following link;

This source code hasn't even got any global.asax.cs file. This solved the global.asax problem but now i have another problems. Seems i have a long way to have a working issuetracker.
