What exactly are you trying to do? Display a picture in the page?

The equivalent is to use ASP.NET Image control to display the picture.
Sample of usage is as follow:
<asp:Image ID="Image1" ImageUrl="~/Images/my_image.jpg" runat="server" />
You can set the ImageUrl property from the Property Box or from the source code itself.
Hope that helps :)

You can use Image control to just display the image.
you can also use ImaggeButton control if you want user can click on this.
and you can take a panel and set its background image so you can have backimage and some controls at upperside.
choose any related to your application.

Based on my experience, there is no PictureBox control in web form, but we can use ListView control to do the same function, check out this link,
