Hi,
I have installed the MS SQL 2000 server in windows 2003 platform. I can able to access the data in from this Database through SQL interface. When I access the data through from asp.net application, it gives an error message " SQL Server doesn not exist or access denied". I have installed it in other server and it is working fine.
I have checked in server. I found DTC service is stopped. Is this the reason for it ?
When I try to start this service, I am getting an error "Could not start Distributed Transaction Coordinator on local computer, error: 1067 the process terminated".
Please help me with a solution.
