Hi I have MS Visual Studio 2008 Express Edition With Two Component Installed

Web Developer 2008 Express Edition

Visual Basic 2008 Express Edition

and SQL 2005 Express Edition Advance

what should i install VS 2008 SP1 Or .Net 3.5 SP1 or both

Visual Studio 2008 SP1 will install .net 3.5 Service Pack 1 during the install process

Friend, VS 2008 SP1 will install both the .Net Framework 3.5 SP1 and as well as the service pack for Visual Studio 2008.

ok but i am using express edition

 because i heard that the express edition has it own sp1

is this right or Visual studio SP1 Works For All Editions

The express editions have there own service pack

You are right!, express editions have their own service packs..

You should install SP1 because brings the "solutions" for some mistakes or error during the initial phase. It's always important install all sp's :)

you can install either .Net 3.5 SP1 or VS 2008 SP1. .Net Framework SP1 will only update the framework and will not update the VS 2008. if u install VS2008 SP1, it will install both the things.
