Other then WebHost4Life. Personally I think they stink. My pages seem to recompile after a few minutes of inactivity. I'm looking for something affordable - it's just a personal website advertising my business; large disk space, bandwidth, bells and whistles are not required. Just something that doesn't recompile every 10 minutes. Thanks!

I used "GoDaddy.com", which is very good & affordable also

you can always try 1&1 Hosting  - super prices, but when problem with server it takes longer to fix than with other hosts. Still it can be great for you for personal site

Take a look at ReliableSite - they did have some problems not so long ago BUT for the rest of time i'm with them - have to say they are very good (and prices are great)

I personally have been in .NET web development world for years and I have not encountered these stuffs. I love to know more about your application and if you can PM, that would be fantastics.

The simple reason for recompilation is that the application pool hosting the website is set to recycle every 10 minutes. Making relevant setting should solve this issue. It is always better to host your website in dedicated application pool only.

I too recommend using Discountasp.net.  I have been using them for years and couldn't be happier.
