    Hi ordan3114,

    As I understand you question.

When you create asp.net application wiht CR and SQL Server 2005, you deploy it on web hosting or web server. Your web hosting package should contain Sql server 2005 database and CR support.

Its not necessary to install CR and Sql server 2005 on client computers. Your application can run on browsers in client computers.

     And thats all.

     Thanks

    Hi,

To deploy the ASP.NET project that includes Crystal Reports on the server correctly, the Crystal Reports components need to be installed on the server.

These components are installed while you install Visual Studio. You can try to copy these components to your ASP.NET project's bin folder and add reference to them. If do so, you can copy your project to server no matter server has these components installed or not.

For more information, see http://aspalliance.com/672 or http://aspadvice.com/blogs/rjdudley/archive/2005/05/22/2597.aspx

    I hope this helps.

    Answer

    Hi,

Crystal Reports is included as part of your Visual Studio .NET or Visual Studio 2005 purchase. It is not offered as a standalone product.

For more information, see Pricing and licensing for Crystal Reports in Visual Studio .NET or in Visual Studio 2005 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/318102).

    I hope this helps.
