I have an application written in Python, that I would like to translate to .NET. Problem is I have no idea how to code in Python. Any ideas how to go about handling this problem?? Thanks in Advance

 There is a .NET implementation of python  http://www.codeplex.com/Wiki/View.aspx?ProjectName=IronPython Perhaps you can get it to compile on .NET with few changes.

I already have Ironpython and so far still not successfully able to open the files in Visual studio.  How do I open a PYTHON APPLIcation that is supposed to be a web app with it?? Any help??

Where you able to figure out the problem? If you are trying to convert a winform, using IronPython Studio would be better than Visual Studio 2008. For ASP.NET, Visual Studio 2008 or Visual Web Developer 2008 should work fine (after the futures are installed).

 If it's a web application, delay migrating to IronPython. The plan for IronPython for ASP.Net is still not clear.

I am trying to translate the application from Python to VB.NET OR C#, not the other way around. Is there a tool to help do this?
