 I was told by my host provider that they won't install Dynamic Data Components until the official release of ASP.NET 3.5. So I started wondering is this the official release that we are using?

You've posted to the "Futures" forum. The Dynamic Data controls from the Futures preview were replaced by the ASP.NET Dynamic Data controls in the ASP.NET 3.5 Extensions Preview.

If that's the version you're referring to then you want to use the other forums.  And yes - those are Preview controls.

.net framework 3.5 is officially release

There is no new vesion of the Asp.net 3.5

with .net 3.5 there uses the same CLR of .net 2.0 with SP1 [SP1 contains new classes /and some fixes] 

Even the Version of the ASPNET remain same [2.0] when you make you deploy ASP.net website using .net framework 3.5

.net framework 3.5 is released and it is provided by most of the service providers.

Like GoDaddy, HostMonster and IXWebHosting

Note, Dynamic Data is in 3.5 SP1, not 3.5 RTM. Most hosting providers have installed this by now and those who haven't will soon.
