I was writing some aspx program using Visual Studio 2003 Professional Edition, windows xp Professional.

I can run my aspx website which i created alright however, i can't open my ASP.NET configuration.

I have my IIS installed and also registered.

Is there something i am missing or some setting on my comuter is worng???

please help me on this issue thx a lot

sorry i didn't say it clearly

my problem is when i open the VS2005 create a random ASP.NET web site project.

I can excute the website and it runs correctly when i press "Ctrl"+"F5". But when i click on "Website"----->"ASP.NET configuration"

the web page will show :

Explanation: The Web server refused the connection

 check all iis services started correctly other wise install iis again and check for iis version compatibility

 Uninstall your IIS and then installed it once again

May be it will work.
