I still get the old skins from the .net 1X framework even though I'm running .net 2.0 apps. I still have VS 2003 installed on the machine. The old control skins like the button control with distinct corners on it - old and crusty. I want rounded corners with good looks. When I work on the project with a computer that only has VS 2005 installed, they look great. Its with the machine that also has VS 2003 on it that's giving me old and crusty. Any ideas?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Was your application migrated to ASP.NET 2.0 from ASP.NET 1.X? If so, the controls in this application have old style.

You can try to create new ASP.NET 2.0 application to see if it works.

    I hope this helps.

    Hi and thanks for replying.

No I've been creating new 2.0 apps. Since I've last posted I also thought I should comment on the fact the IE.7 has old skins associated with it too. Both appps and browser look old compared to the same OS with only VS2005 installed on on the machine. Not VS2003 and VS2005.
