Hi guys

This is driving me crazy... I cant find the .vsi file for installing the CSS Friendly Control Adapters Project. Does anyone know where I can get this?

The following link: http://www.asp.net/cssadapters/ only leads to the CodePlex wiki where I can download the dll and a partial solution. Essentially, I'm looking for the source code to implement the Menu adapter.

Any help is much appreciated!

Duke, I had exactly the same problem. Eventualy I found it here http://bryongaskin.net/tools/downloads/ASPNETCssFriendlyAdapters_Beta2.vsi, hope its still there.

I highly suggest you don't use the vsi install and go and get the latest build from code plex as lots of bugs have been fixed.

I would still use the vsi install just to look at the samples though but not for building applications.

Ok, so I downloaded the .dll and the .browser files and put them in the appropriate folders in my web app.

Now what do I do with them?  All I've got is a reference to a .dll file in my app and a new browsers folder with their file in it.

How do I use these things? 

Why cant Microsoft change the damn instructions if there is no VSI file. This is so frustrating. I have found numerous issues with Microsoft's outdated documentation. I wonder who designs/is responsible for these sites. Ive even had issues with IE8 and numerous other issues with ASP.net
