I developed a crystal report to be printed through ASP.NET.  I am using Visual Studio 2005 professional.  When I view the report through my webpage, the report is visible, but all of the buttons (forward, back, export) all show as the box with a red x.  Does anyone know how this can be fixed?

 

 

Copy the

CrystalReportWebFormViewer3  to your IIS setup folder or default at

C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\aspnet_client\system_web\2_0_50727\CrystalReportWebFormViewer3

Might be you are trying to run from .Net IDE (Developement Server), Create a virtual directory for it and access from that URL. Still the Problem exists then chk the folder C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\aspnet_client\system_web\2_0_50727\CrystalReportWebFormViewer3\images having the treeview and toolbar images.

Search your folder and default folder would be

C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\aspnet_client\system_web\2_0_50727\CrystalReportWebFormViewer4

Move this to your setup server and the icon will showing.

Thanks TonyDonq!  You made my day.   I've been struggle with this problem for days..  My app. works properly now.  I really appreciated your help.

I have my files in the C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\aspnet_client\system_web\2_0_50727\CrystalReportWebFormViewer3 folder as you indicated.  The images still do not show up.  When I go to View Source for the page, it refers to /crystalreportviewers11/images/toolbar/print.gif.  I do not see this folder anywhere.  Do you know what might be happening?

I found my problem.  I never had a virtual directory set up to this folder in IIS. 

 

Why not copy the images from

C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\aspnet_client\system_web\2_0_50727\CrystalReportWebFormViewer3\images\toolbar

To the folder viewsource show.

/crystalreportviewers11/images/toolbar/

Because I am use Crystal Report 10, not 11, so I can't see why it need /crystalreportviewers11/images/toolbar/print.gif
