I got the solution compiled successfully, however, when I try to publish the web site to local. It fail to publish with 0 errors.

I couldn't know what's going on because it did not tell you anything. I tried to search a couple hours on google but cannot find any solution either...

Did anyone have same experience? 

 What are you publishing to? IIS, FTP, FileSystem, Http?

Same problem here.  I got a PUBLISH FAILED but that's all, no detail, nothing, and everything is complied without any error

I publish to a folder on my HD, and I always did the same thing since a few month without any problem.  This occured sudently

but what is frustrating, is that we just got this message but HOW THE HELL on earth we can know what's going on if there's no details about this nothing, no error mesages else then PUBLISH FAILED

 Might want to try a rebuild before publish and see if the compile really worked. I've had occasions where I got that publish error and when I did a rebuild there were actually errors. Myabe not, but worth a shot.

I had the same problem.

SOLUTION!!!!

Display the output window.  VS 2005 - View -> Output.

When you publish it will give you all the errors.  

In my case, I had moved my images directory in another folder and for some reason it didn't like it.
