    Answer

    Hi Sreedhar,

Yes, ASP to ASP.NET Migration Assistant is designed to migrate ASP to ASP.NET 1.X. The default project model in Visual Studio 2008 is different from ASP.NET 1.x. When you open the project in Visual Studio 2008, it will prompt you to upgrade the project, you can choose this option.

Can you elaborate, on how to do?

We have 500 old asp pages, but given the time and risk, if it is not feasible, we may end up using coexist of asp and aspx. Start sharing the session between them.

I posted other article to expect some answers from the community ... http://forums.asp.net/t/1235386.aspx

    Thanks
