I'm thinking about downloading cassini, my question is this, if I download cassini will I be able to serve asp pages and aspx pages on my site ? I currently use Visual Web Developer 05 Express Edition for updating my site.

In that case then no. It can only host ASP 2.0 and 1.1 pages and static HTML.

It was develop simultaneously with the arrival of ASP.net 2.0 and it does not support classic asp.
