I am trying to create a  filter similar to  Creating a Google Suggest Style Filter with the AutoComplete Control. But this article is relevant to 3.5 and listview

But i want to use gridview and implemet the similar logic. I dont want to use the pager template. What i want to do most importantly is to create a

webservice which returns a list of data based on some criteria. Has anybody tried this logic 2.0.

Any feedback ? Any ideas?
