I've talked about it before.  Here you go adding enhancements to the site (the new Wiki) when annoying bugs still exist on the forums!

Can you PLEASE focus on usability and contributor-concerns for ONE FREAKIN' MINUTE?!

I love the idea for a Wiki, I think it's fantastic and totally beneficial.  But for the love of God, what do we have to do to convince you guys that annoying bugs are pissing us off, and they're undoubtedly easy to fix...

    • When insert code dialog opens up, change the size of the modal.  It's the worse possible size for that dialog.  Try to use the mouse wheel to scroll the "Insert" button into display.
    • Quick reply refresh problem.  Almost a full year later, one line of Javascript to fix.
    • AddPost.aspx remembering input?  If you accidentally click one of the BILLION links on the screen when composing a message/reply, the back button gives you an empty editor.  If only I had a count of how many minutes worth of input I've lost because of this.  Don't even think about blaming that on TinyMCE either, I know better than that.
    • Formatting problem when inserting VB.NET source code.  (again, this is NOT the fault of TinyMCE, so quit being lazy and fix it)
    • PageIndex query string inconsistency (Haissam knows what I am talking about)
    • Inaccurate cookie duration/location for Silverlight installation dialog (I still get the dialog every day on several of your community sites)

I love the fact that you are adding new things to the site.  It's good to see that.  But it's unbelievable to see you guys ignore our requests to fix minor bugs, without the slightest explanation as to why-not.  It's offensive, really.  Like a slap to the face.

    Best regards...

I hope at least some of these points will be taken into consideration and a scheduled plan will be created to fix them.

Thanks for your feedback, Josh.  Your suggestions would be more easily taken if they did not contain insults and accusations.  My team works hard and I resent any of us being called lazy.  Resources are not unlimited and we've been trying to focus on those areas which have the most positive impact on the greatest number of members.  We have an update to address the Silverlight installation dialog that we should be pushing out Monday; although I am not sure that it will address your point exactly.  Each of the community sites (Windows Client, Silverlight, IIS.NET, ASP.NET , Channel 9, etc) has their own cookies for tracking and you will get prompted every 7 days on each site.

We will be working on a bug fix pass, which may or may not address your pet concerns.

Someone else has pointed out that we are falling short of keeping the "What's New" forum up-to-date, and that is a fair and valid criticism.  We will do better there.

I am sorry.  Seems to me that this is how far I need to go before action is taken.  If you don't want me to get this frustrated, than keep us posted on the progress!  It's a simple and realistic request.
