Hi.

I am using ASP.NET 2.0. I am using r.a.d combobox from telerik.

 I had replaced the Rad Combobox dll version from RadComboBox.Net2.dll 2.5.1.0 to Rad Combobox dll version 2.8.1.0. And changed the respective javascript files.

After updating to the new version, I am not able to select the values from the combobox. I was able to select values from the combobox in the previous dll version. The user is not able to select values from the combobox, only the cursor is available now..

The combobox is behaving like a normal textbox.

Is there any changes made with respect to new dll version? Is there anything wrong I am doing here

With 3rd party controls, it is always a good idea to try the manufacturer's forums or support first.  They are the people most likely to be able to solve the problem, as they will know the inner workings of their controls, and what changes were made from one version to the next. As you mentioned, I have already opened the Issue with them. As this Forum brings multiple people from different level of expertise, I provided the same post here.

The worst part is, I tried creating a sample working solution, so that I could send to them, But the control was working properly. I was able to use the dropdown box..

But the same thing is not working in my Main application.. Am I missing anything?

I can't answer that question. 

While this forum does indeed bring a lot of different people with all kinds of expertise together, I doubt anyone here will know more about the Telerik controls than they do themselves.

However, what I find sometimes helps is to rebuild the page, starting with the control in question, then incrementally add the other functionality, testing as you go, to see when it breaks.

I finally got the problem..

I am using Atlas ScripManager in my page, and after the Atlas request, the combobox events are not firing.. I have raised this issue in their Forum, but thought of Informing over here also..
