when i try to install the ajax extensions, i get the following error:

" a network error occured trying to read from the file c:\AtlasSetup.msi"

i am running the ASPAJAXExtSetup.msi from c:\

not sure why its trying to reference another msi file that doesn't exist. anyone have any clues as to why this is happening?

Maybe u need to install the old version first?

Could be user rights. Can u try installing it from different directory? Do you get same problem?

i don't believe so as i've installed it on my laptop with a clean install of xp and didnt have this problem. i dont think its user rights either as i am the domain and local admin in this environment. i tried several directories on different drives, same result.

Sorry i made a typo. I meant "uninstall". LOL...

Yeah, you should uninstall the old version.

i never had the old version installed. this is a fresh install of the ajax extensions on this particular system

Search your machine for this file "AtlasSetup.msi"

Also, are you installing from a network drive since the error message says its a "network error"?
