    using ie7, vs2005 and vista 32 bit and I can't debug a web application ... the most simple of tasks like having a breakpoint on a button click doesnt' work!   ... feels like vintage microsoft

    What exactly is happening when you try to debug?  Is the build type set to Debug or Release?  There are a lot of different things that could be causing you debugging problems, but we'll probably have to have more info to determine what's going on.
