  Using ODBC and visual studio isn't intended as a tool to manage a database. What little design time support is available is there to help you write your applications. If you want to manage a server checkout EMS MySQL Manager from Electronic Microsystems. It can be found at http://ems-hitech.com/mymanager/(the only tool I use anymore). You can also give MySQL Control Center a try. It's from the makers of MySQL, but only in beta and not as richly featured. It's located at:http://www.mysql.com/products/mysqlcc/index.html Enjoy. Derek

  If my transactions are not very high per day, is it the free data provider already suffient for me? Or do you have better suggestion of the provider as i want to change my ms sql server to Mysql as ms sql server's fees is too high.
