I have two copies of my website hosted on my PC using IIS. If I open IE7 and log into site1 in one tab and then log into site2 in another tab I get logged out of site1. It doesn't instantly log me off the site but when the next update panel triggers (by timer) it throws me back to the login page.

If I log into the same two sites using different IE7 browsers (not different tabs) then it works fine.

I don't know if this is an AJAX issue for sure or just an IE7 prob.

FYI: Both site1 and site2 are identical, both point to the same MS DB (Win auth). Both on .NET2.0 (duh), Loging in using Forms Auth

    Regards

    Matthew

is it possible that when your logging into site2 its actually overwriting your session information in site 1 since the app names are probably the same.  Otherwise I would think a cookie is getting wiped out, but im betting its your session is getting killed.
