I have published my web application many times and i never get the any problem but when i try to publish from my VS 2005

its getting error: All it tells me is publish failed.

Is there any place that gives me a hint on why it failed?

go to >>build>>>publish web site

and assign the drive name

 previously i use to publish in debug mode but this time I'm trying to publish in release mode

You can check the "live" status of the Publish operation in the Output window. Press Control+Alt+O to view it in visual Studio.
