    Hi there:

I´m trying to install WAP (VS80-KB915364-X86-ENU.exe) on my development machine but it says it can´t be installed because it says this can´t find the program it´s about to install or because the program version is not the specified one. The only difference is that my Visual studio 2005 is in spanish, these are my version numbers:

    Microsoft Visual Studio 2005
    Version 8.0.50727.42  (RTM.050727-4200)
    Microsoft .NET Framework
    Versión 2.0.50727

    Edition: Professional

    Microsoft Visual Basic 2005   77927-009-0000007-41126
    Microsoft Visual Basic 2005

Microsoft Visual Web Developer 2005   77927-009-0000007-41126
    Microsoft Visual Web Developer 2005

Microsoft Web Deployment Projects 2005   77927-009-0000007-41126
    Microsoft Web Deployment Projects 2005

    Crystal Reports    ******
Crystal Reports para Visual Studio 2005

    Thanks for any hints.

    Hi!

    Have you read this? http://forums.asp.net/thread/1279716.aspx

Pay close attention to Issue no 9, it should help you, there is problems with Localized versions of VS2005.

     Hope this helps!

    Hi Dozer:

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I don´t have a VSNET 2005 English version installed (just in spanish) son this workaround does not work for me anyway.

I read that there is a SP1 planned, but it has not been released yet right? It´s a shame cause this WAP is just what I need for many reasons, one of them is the need to exclude some files and folders from compilation (used by CVS, a source control system).

Thanks anyway, will appreciate any further comments on this.

    Bye.
