Creating custom templates in VS2005 Professional

    Hello, I'm trying to create a custom project/item template as described in http://msdn.microsoft.com/msdnmag/issues/06/01/CodeTemplates/ or http://weblogs.asp.net/scottgu/archive/2005/09/09/424780.aspx.

    But I'm failing on the simple fact that I don't have a "File -> Export Template" menu item. Is this option only available in the more advanced VS editions? I currently run the Professional Edition.

    It would be nice to know so I can stop searching...

    Oh... sorry... found it... just a matter of menu configuration...

    Try Tools | Import/Export Settings and rest all setting to default. Then choose "General development" profile.
