    Hello,

Is the documentation available at http://atlas.asp.net/docs/Client/Default.aspx generated automatically? If so, what tool was used to generate it? Is that tool publicly available? Does that tool also output a .chm file?

I've been looking for a tool to automatically generate documentation from javascript comments + code. I’ve been using JSDoc so far, but the output isn’t very nice (it looks exactly like the output from javadoc), and it’s not customizable.

    Thanks

Though I am unable to speak for how the Microsoft ASP.NET AJAX team made their documentation, you can find a microsoft CHM Compiler at the following URL: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms669985.aspx

(It is known as Microsoft HTML Help.  You will want to download the HTML Help Workshop.)
