I have been doing alot of work with SSRS 2005 lately. I wonder complicated it would be to write a module for this?

I think it would be a great tool to use with DNN, being able to offer clients a reporting service.

You can try the Reporting Services module PA at http://opensource.indyneinc.com/home/Products/ReportXP/HowtoObtain/tabid/81/Default.aspx.  The download is available to Registered users.

That is exactly what i was talking about.

I think I am going to try and write my own for the learning experience anyway.

I know this sounds silly, but what does PA stand for? lol...

I have been using this module for a long time now..    http://www.tressleworks.ca/Default.aspx?tabid=82

So I downloaded the dbAutoTrack.com Data-Reports control    and replaced the grid from the above module with the Data-Reports viewer.    All I had to do was design the report and I could use the same DataSet...

thanks for the link to the dbAutoTrack!!

(oh I had to add a rewriteRule because it uses httpHandlers for something  and of course desktopmodules is excluded from httpHandlers processing)
