Div).&nbsp; The blue background is a Panel and so is each of the rectangles that represent the flowchart shapes.</p> <p>I also introduced a Zoom mechanism to allow the user to zoom in &amp; out.&nbsp; Here's the <a target="_blank" href="http://www.mwtech.com/downloads/public/Correct_Appearance_with_Smaller_Panels.JPG"> correct appearance</a> when the user initally zooms out.</p> <p>I then zoom in to see the rectangles much larger and everything still <a target="_blank" href="http://www.mwtech.com/downloads/public/Correct_Appearance_with_Magnified_Panels.JPG"> appears correct</a>.&nbsp; Notice that the vertical scrollbar turns on.&nbsp; My code calculates the required dimensions of all of the flowchart objects and has detected that not everything could fit in the main panel so it forcibly enabled the vertical scrollbar.<br> <br> So far, so good.</p> <p>But then when I zoom out, all hell breaks loose and the rectangles <a target="_blank" href="http://www.mwtech.com/downloads/public/Incorrect_Appearance_with_Smaller_Panels.JPG"> appear incorrectly</a>.&nbsp; The thing is, I stepped through the code and noted where the center point of each rectangle was supposed to be.&nbsp; The math of my algorithm is correct but where the Panels are appearing is not correct and definitely not matching with whey're they're supposed to be.&nbsp; But I cannot figure out why.</p> <p>One thing I am almost certain about is that the problem has something to do with the vertical scrollbar appearing because when it isn't enabled before I zoom out then the problem never occurs.&nbsp; But even through I begin my &quot;drawing&quot; method by clearing the child Panels and then disabling the scrollbar, this doesn't resolve the problem.</p> <p>Is it possible that the &quot;position:absolute&quot; style property of each Panel is somehow being turned off or changed?&nbsp; What else could cause the absolute X,Y positioning of the Panels in the parent Panel to stop working correctly?</p> <p>I'm pulling my hair out trying to solve this but have absolutely no idea why it's happening.&nbsp; Hoping someone else does!</p> <p>Robert</p> 2013-05-17T21:59:26-04:002013-05-17T21:59:26.56-04:00urn:uuid:00000000-0000-0000-0000-000005396289http://forums.asp.net/p/1906585/5396289.aspx/1?TimeoutTimeout <p>I am having a problem with a timeout, in an aspx page where I am using Icallbackeventhandler to do asynchronous I/O.&nbsp; I set some parameters on the webpage and then send them to the server and call a stored procedure (roughly, query records with a field falling between A and B).&nbsp; When the parameters are set to a wide enough range, the stored procedure takes a longer time to execute, and at a certain point, I lose communication with the client.&nbsp; I know this because I send a message back to the client when the stored procedure completes, and while I can check on the database end that it completed its work, the client browser never gets the message I send back (but it does when I set the parameters to a very short range).<br> <br> The stored procedure itself is not timing out - I set the timeout value for the query manually and also have stepped through the code with a debugger.&nbsp; The problem is the web session seems to be getting killed - but it's nowhere near timeout for the session either (20 minutes).<br> <br> </p> 2013-05-16T18:40:49-04:002013-05-16T18:40:49.303-04:00
