I wish to create a pop up calendar where I can pick the date and time for the start time as well as the end time.
I am using Visual Web Developer with c# and the custom calendar available only shows the dates.

I downloaded the Time Tracker .vsi and when I installed it, I was able to view a new Time Tracker Starter Kit application from within Visual Studio 2010 as a new Web Site project, however, when I attempted to create the Time Tracker Starter Kit website, I received an error:

Exception from HRESULT: 0x80041FEB.

Any advice on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.

Drop down menus not seeing CSS?

Hi,

I am using the starter kit and the top left tab menus are just text not Tabs. The menus do drop down and give me options but I can get the tabs back. Any ideas?

Trouble with SQL connection string

I'm trying to insert data from a textbox into a SQL table. I created a SQL db on my local machine and the instance name is "Brandon-PC\brandon". The username is "Test" and the password is "test".  The db is named "STATUS". I have added the user to the server as a sysadmin as well adding it in the STATUS db. For the "server = " argument I've tried Brandon-PC, Brandon-PC\brandon, and brandon I keep getting this error:

 A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server) I've posted the code below, and any help is appreciated.

I installed my timetracker.mdf on SQL 2005 Server while following one of the suggestion on this forum (DBinstall posting: http://forums.asp.net/943216/ShowPost.aspx). When I attempt to run the Time Tracker Starter kit I receive the following error:

An attempt to attach an auto-named database for file C:\WebSites\Test_TimeTracker\App_Data\aspnetdb.mdf failed. A database with the same name exists, or specified file cannot be opened, or it is located on UNC share.

I checked SQL Express and I did originally have a database named aspnetdb that was installed by the QuickStarts. I have subsequently detached that database and moved the data and log files from SQL Express's data folder, however I still get the same error.

I've opened mdf file in visual studio and verified that it did indeed contain data and was not corrupt. The directory is not in a UNC Share. I've granted full security access on the WebSites directory to the "Everyone" user.

I'm running Windows 2003 Standard Edition, using Visual Studio Team Suite, running under beta 2 of the Framework.

I imagine that I could attach the mdf in Sql Express and then rewrite the ConnectionString to point to that, but I'd like to get it to work the way it was intended. I've attached the Connection String section as well as the stack trace below. Does anyone have any ideas about how to fix this issue?

Login fails for my asp.net user?

I added my machine name aspnet account as a db owner on the database and i still cant login. I am getting this error:

Cannot open user default database. Login failed.
Login failed for user 'F1J2J91\ASPNET'.

How to delete users and change passwords?

Hi, I am using the starter kit and I see where I can add users but theres no where to delete or change their passwords with out going directly into the database to do this. I cant change the password either because it looks encrypted in the database. Is there any way I can manage the users better using this starter kit?
